Planet Pulse Youth-Centric Climate Awareness Guide & Resilience Framework

Climate anxiety is real, and it’s rising. WP2 is Planet Pulse’s dedicated response to this growing emotional burden. Our goal is to understand how climate change is affecting the mental health of young people across Europe, and to do something about it.

Through a combination of research, storytelling, and digital innovation, WP2 is building tools that don’t just acknowledge youth climate anxiety, they help transform it into resilience, awareness, and action.

What We’re Aiming For

WP2 is designed to equip at least 500 young people and 25 youth educators with the knowledge and strategies they need to navigate climate anxiety and become empowered changemakers in their communities.

What We’re Creating

Youth-Centric Climate Awareness Guide

A research-informed, story-driven guide that:

Integrates 24+ real youth testimonials
Introduces 4 age-specific coping techniques
Offers interactive modules to turn insight into action

Climate Anxiety Self-Assessment Tool

Helps youth identify their personal climate anxiety triggers
Recommends tailored coping strategies
Tracks engagement and effectiveness through built-in analytics

Why It Matters

Climate anxiety isn’t just a passing feeling, it’s a deeply rooted emotional response to a very real crisis. WP2 is about validating those feelings, understanding their origins, and offering practical ways to cope.

For young people: It’s a chance to feel seen, heard, and supported.
For educators: It’s a resource to help guide meaningful conversations and build emotional resilience.
For communities: It’s a step toward collective healing and climate action.

What We Expect to Achieve

500+ youth engaged through the Self-Assessment Tool
25+ educators trained and resourced
10+ interactive tools and modules developed
