Like “how do you feel about extreme weather lately?” instead of “climate change is happening and you’re ignoring it.” Makes the conversation softer.

My family used to change the subject anytime climate came up.

Now I start gently — I share small stories instead of facts. Like telling them about a flood near our town or plastic on the beach. It feels more human and less like a lecture.
